Well, to be honest; the Imperial Fists are THE least interesting space marine chapter in my opinion... Hell, even Ultramarines are more interesting than these guys...

The legion that was responsible for the Imperium's victory during the Horus Heresy, the Emperor's first Praetorian Guard, produced the most effective later founding chapters and that unlike a certain legion of arrogant Mary Sues that are the best at everything, actually has a list of deeds worth remembering as opposed to flukes and tactical withdrawals.

Agreed, So much could and should have been done. IF and Templars had enough fluff and history for their own codices. Still really annoyed the BT’s got relegated to the smurf division.

Well a Necron Raider force once attacked Mars, They bypassed all the defences because the imperial orbital stations and ships weren't able to register because of the Necrons shrouding technology. Eventually they were spotted but and the fleet intercepted them but they were unable to prevent some of the Necron forces land on Mars soil itself. Since Mars is in the same Solar System as Terra/Earth I guess that's the closed Xenos attack to Terra. And this is only 5 ships. Namely scouting stealth ships. Not even a real harvest fleet.

Well, a 'real' battlefleet would not sneak by Segmentum Solar defences
